Step 1: Building the Structure

To begin the project, let's focus on the most crucial element: the structure. This will provide support for both the roof and side cladding. To construct the structure, you will need the following materials:

  • 2 2x2 profiles with a length of 23.5 inches.
  • 2 2x2 profiles with a length of 20 inches.
  • 4 2x2 profiles cut at a 45-degree angle and measuring 15.13 inches in length.

Start by creating a frame using the 23.5-inch and 20-inch profiles. Assemble the frame according to the diagram provided above. Once the frame is complete, proceed to attach the posts, cut at a 45-degree angle, at each corner of the frame. Congratulations! You have now built the main structure of this small house.

Step 2: Roof and Facade Access Structures

In this step, we will focus on two sections shown in the diagram: the roof structure and the façade access structure. Let's break it down further:

Roof Structure: To build the roof structure, you will need the following materials:

  • 4 2x2 profiles with a length of 16.25 inches.
  • 1 2x2 profile with a length of 26.5 inches.

Start by placing the 4 profiles measuring 16.25 inches symmetrically on the posts with cuts at a 45-degree angle. This arrangement will give shape to the sloping roof. In the center of this structure, secure the 26.5-inch profile to enhance its rigidity.

Façade Access Structure: For the façade access structure, gather the following materials:

  • 2 2x2 profiles with a 45-degree angle cut and a length of 18.88 inches.
  • 1 2x2 profile with a length of 9.5 inches.

Begin by assembling the frame. Place the 9.5-inch profile at each end, and at a height of 13 inches, attach the two 18.88-inch profiles. This frame will be positioned on the façade of our structure. Ensure that the frame is centered and securely fixed.

By completing these steps, you will have constructed the roof and façade access structures of the project.

Step 3: Floor and Roof Covering

The next step is straightforward. Gather the following materials:

  • 3 profiles of 1x10 with a length of 19 inches.
  • 3 profiles of 1x10 with a length of 18 inches.
  • 4 profiles of 1x4 with a length of 23.5 inches.

Start by attaching the 23.5-inch profiles to the lower frame to construct the floor of the house. These profiles will serve as the foundation for the floor.

Next, use the 19-inch and 18-inch profiles to cover the sloping roof. Overlap the larger profiles onto the smaller ones as shown in the diagram (1 over 2). This technique will ensure proper coverage and create a secure roof structure.

By following these steps, you will have successfully built the floor and covered the sloping roof of the house.

Step 4: Final Touches

Congratulations! You've reached the last step, and you're almost done with your project. Here's what you'll need for this step:

  • 6 profiles of 1x4 with a length of 27.5 inches.
  • 6 profiles of 1x4 with a length of 5.25 inches.
  • 3 profiles of 1x4 with a length of 22 inches.
  • 6 1x4 profiles with 2 cuts at 45 degrees.

Let's proceed with the final touches:

Front Part: Take the 6 profiles measuring 5.25 inches and fix them at the ends. These will be positioned at the front part of the structure.

Top Part: For the top section, you'll need 3 profiles with cuts at 45 degrees. Please refer to the 3D model of this project provided by Crafty Amigo for a more detailed view of the measurements and angles required.

Sides: Using the 6 profiles measuring 27.5 inches, fix them along the sides of the structure. These profiles will provide stability and support to the sides.

Back Part: Start by fixing the 22-inch profiles for the back part of the structure. Then, attach the profiles with cuts at 45 degrees. This arrangement will complete the back section of your project.

By following these instructions, you will add the final touches to your structure. You're almost finished!
